BAAM—Business as a Ministry—is the driving force behind our mission. In 2021, we launched a nonprofit initiative that uses real estate as a platform to serve children through sports.
Our impact is intentional and growing. We set a giving goal of $50,000 in 2025 and $65,000 in 2026. A key focus of our efforts is expanding access to youth sports—because every child deserves the opportunity to play, grow, and belong.
Through our partnerships, we aim to sponsor hundreds of children each year by covering registration fees into a sport of their choice. For many of these kids, this support makes participation possible.

David Etz is as close to a native Carolinian as you’ll find for someone born out of state. After moving to NC at one year old, David grew up in Mooresville and has called the Lake Norman area home for his entire adult life. David has a unique balance of southern eloquence with big city sharpness and a true love for all that the Carolinas have to offer. Prior to getting his real estate license, David spent many years in the service industry. It’s this experience that has instilled in him just how integral client care is in a real estate relationship.
In his free time, David loves to learn new skills in the kitchen, fit in as many rounds of golf as NC weather allows, and spending time with his family, high school sweetheart Haley and their two kids Harper and Wyatt.

For 15 years I operated at least 3 units at a time. I feel like every person should get the same level of service. Real Estate has opened many new avenues for me. I was born and raised in the Chicago but often visited family in the Charlotte and fell in love with the area. After graduating Purdue University I joined a rotational program that moved me around to 5 states within 3 years.
During these moves I was buying personal investment properties which was where I found my true passion for real estate and decided to jump in full force.
